Finder’s fees for
live-in caregivers vary; some agencies charge nothing, while others
charge up to $3,000. But beware: If you’re not paying a fee, chances
are the nanny is picking up the bill —
That means that the client is
the caregiver and NOT you. In most cases the Canadian family is taken
advantage of as the caregivers are paying the agency to do everything
possible to bring them to Canada.
Ask a firm why they’re not charging you a fee and decide whether you are
comfortable with the answer. |
